„Vladimir Ilyich“ – the Soviet Project 301 river passenger diesel ship

Project 301 river diesel ship "Vladimir Ilyich" belongs to the type of four-deck river passenger diesel-ships, built in 1974-1983 at the German DR shipyard "VEB Elbewerft Boizenburg/Rosslau" in Boizenburg. A total of 22 ships of this type of three different series were built by order of the USSR. The diesel-ship could transport 360 passengers on one trip, who were accommodated in air-conditioned single, double and triple cabins, which were equipped with individual sanitary facilities. The ship has a restaurant, cafe, lounges and movie theaters. The sailing area for this diesel-ships is limited to "O" class water pools, it is possible to swim in the Ladoga and Onega lakes, when the wave height does not exceed 2.5 meters.
