This ferry operates between Freeport, Long Island and Westport, Briar Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. This route is 8 minutes long, but the tides can vary up to 7.5 meters in height. The ship is a two-way (can sail equally in both directions) passenger and car self-propelled ferry. "Margaret's Justice" was designed and built for the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal. The ferry was put into operation in 2017. "Margaret's Justice" is a steel structure with an aluminum wheelhouse, standing on a gantry structure above the deck. The ferry is powered by two Caterpillar C12 engines. The under-deck voids are heated by the engine's cooling circuit, making it easier to clear snow and ice from the deck in winter.
A miniature model, but quite labor intensive - almost all the details are very small. The model is well designed and printed with high quality. Some details are double-sided printing. There are details of models of road transport, military and even fantastic (!!!) vehicles - they can be placed on the ferry deck. The model is intended for modelers of any experience, but advanced beginners and modelers with little experience are advised to glue the model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
