The "Friedrich der Grosse" is the second ship of the "Kaiser" class. Named after Frederick II King of Prussia. Built at AG "Vulkan" factory in Hamburg in 1910-1912. Until 1917 he was the flagship of the High Seas Fleet. The battleship participated in all major operations of World War I, including the Battle of Jutland in 1916. May 31 - June 1 "Friedrich der Grosse", which fought in the center of the German escadre, came out of the battle completely unscathed. In 1917 The flagship of the German Navy was taken over by the new battleship "Baden".
A complex, large, but interesting model. Recommended for intermediate to advanced naval enthusiasts. This model features a high level of detail, with some detail sheets printed double-sided. There are details, printed in "metallic" type bronze paint. The model is intended for intermediate and experienced modelers, but it will not be an easy job for them either. The model has a lot of details, but the extensive and informative graphic instructions will help a lot, when gluing the model.
