„Express“ – the British destroyer

Destroyer "Express" belongs to the "special 32-knot" type, built according to 1896-189. program. According to it, 3 ships were built on the order of the British Admiralty: "Albatross", "Arab" and "Express". Destroyer was launched in 1897. December. Since 1898 October to 1901 ship made 27 preliminary and 10 official test runs in August, but did not reach the agreed speed during any of them. In 1902 in December the destroyer was accepted by the Admiralty as a speed of 31 knots. The "Express" was the largest ship of its type in the world at its time. Served in Metropolis waters all the time. During World War I - as part of one of the "Dover patrol" destroyer flotillas. 1921. 03. 17 "Express" was sold for scrap metal.

A small and neat project, an original prototype are the undoubted advantages of this edition. Double-sided printing, discrete colors. The model is designed for intermediate and advanced modelers, but not so complex, that it cannot be assembled by an advanced beginner or novice modeler under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. But it won't be easy. There are parts printed with metallic bronze paint.
