The armored cruiser "Brooklyn" was the second full-fledged American armored cruiser. And the last "exemplar", built in one copy, had no analogues of the same type. Then the USA switched to serial construction of ships of this class. "Brooklyn" began service in 1896. Two years later, he participated in the Spanish-American War, distinguished himself in the Battle of Santiago. The cruiser was assigned a special role in blocking the Spanish fleet, as it was theoretically the only ship, capable of catching up with the Spanish cruisers. In the fight, the "Brooklyn" was the most engaged of all the American ships—because of her high speed—and took the most hits (twenty hits). 1909-1911 the cruiser was modernized. The obsolete cruiser no longer participated in World War I. His presence in Vladivostok in 1918 together with the American expeditionary forces, which supported Admiral Kolchak and Ataman Semionov, is noteworthy from the further history of the service. In her final years of service, the "Brooklyn" was the flagship of the Pacific Fleet's destroyer fleet. In 1921 the cruiser was struck off the fleet's battleship lists and scrapped.

The model recreates the early 20th century cruiser in the white and yellow camouflage, typical of American ships of the period. Recommended for intermediate to advanced modelers. The model is full of details, there are sheets with double-sided printing, some details are printed with "metallic" type of bronze paint.
