The escadre battleship of the Baltic Fleet, laid down in June 1886. Launched May 20, 1889. Began the service in April 1891. Most of his service “Imperator Nikolaj I” ("Emperor Nicholas I") spent in foreign voyages. He participated in the celebrations on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America, held in New York. From 1895 to 1896 he served in the Far East. In 1897–1898 participated in the international peacekeeping mission in Crete. Participated in the Battle of Tsushima as the flagship of the 3rd Pacific Escadre. Many call the "Emperor Nicholas I" the most controversial ship in the history of the Russian fleet. Starting from the project and ending with the service, he personified brilliant solutions with unforgivable flaws, heroic campaigns with the unprecedented shame of surrendering an entire escadre. Its most obsolete artillery in the Russian escadre inflicted the most serious damage to the Japanese (breaking through the armor of the turret of 12 "guns on the escadre battleship “Fuji”, as well as breaking through the armor and damaging the steering on the armored cruiser “Asama”) in the Battle of Tsushima. The battleship was excluded from the lists of the Russian fleet on September 13, 1905, was included in the Japanese fleet on May 23, 1905. There the battleship was named "Iki" and was used as an artillery training ship.

The model has a high level of detail, we recommend it to experienced modelers. There are two sets of deck parts.
