The artillery ship “Chrabrij” ("Brave" - from 31 December 1922 -"Krasnoye Znamia") was included in the lists of the Baltic fleet on January 30, 1895. From August 28, 1899, to August 1906, he took part in a foreign expedition to maintain the peace and security forces of the island of Crete. Boilers repaired in 1908 - 1909. During World War I he belonged to the Gulf of Riga Naval Forces. In 1915 - 1916, the battle cabin was raised 0.9 meters, the dimensions of the front command post were increased, the rear command post and the navigator's cabin were demolished. Armored: 5x 130 mm / 55 caliber length, 1x 76 antiaircraft cannon. From September 21 to October 6, 1917, he took part in the Battle of Monzun. On November 7, 1917, he switched to the Red Baltic Fleet. From October 1918 to 1922 it stood in a long-term reserve (at that time the boilers were replaced by 4 boilers of the “Norman” system). From 31 December 1922 to 15 March 1940 he served on a training artillery ship. Since January 11, 1935 - in the 2nd Division of the Submarine Brigade of the Baltic Naval Forces. Overhauls were performed during that period. During World War II, he participated in the defense of the coasts of the Gulf of Finland and Leningrad. On November 16, 1942, he sank off the island of Levensar after hitting torpedoes, launched from a Finnish torpedo boat. He was raised on November 13, 1943, and resumed service on September 17, 1944. From April 7, 1956, a training artillery ship was disarmed and converted into a flying barracks on March 13, 1959. It is removed from the fleet on 30 June 1960 and handed over for cutting.

A sophisticated, well-designed and detailed (in some cases too much) model of a beautiful ship for intermediate and experienced modelers. The mere fact that the 36 cm long boat is designed with a secondary cladding shows, that it has been slightly pre-detailed in some places.
