The tug "Ievoli Black" was built by "Stocznia Polnocna" SA in Gdańsk in 2009. The customer was the ship owner company “Svitzer Salvage”, which leases the ship to the Dutch Coast Guard. This organization performs many different functions. In addition to the active rescue service, it oversees the military port in Den Helder, where it is engaged in police and customs work. “Ievoli Black's” primary mission is water conservation control, and it is equipped with firefighting and oil and spill response equipment. The tug actively cooperates with KNRM (Netherlands Maritime Rescue Service). The ship's port of call and base is Den Helder.
A small, well-designed tug model without an underwater section for modelers of all experience. It can be assembled by advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There are models of cars and trucks.
