On November 19, 2007 “Stocznia Polnocna”, owned by “Grupa Remontowa” in Gdynia, handed over the first of two Project 1064 passenger ferries for service between Helsingør in Denmark and Helsingborg in Sweden. The preliminary project was made by the Danish construction office "Knud E. Hansen" A.S., and the technical and working documentation was created by the team of the construction office of the “Remontowa” construction site, led by Stanislaw Szymczak. The owner of the ships is "ACE Link" company. The first ferry is named "Simara ACE", the second - "Siluma ACE". In order to be neutral, the owner decided, that the first ship would sail under the Swedish flag, and the second - under the Danish flag. The ships look like large yachts, and passengers have at their disposal a large lounge, a shop, toilets on deck No. 2, a restaurant, a cafe and a pub with a bar on deck No. 3, benches and kiosk on deck No. 4 and an open observation deck on deck No. 5. Three current generators produce electricity, which rotates two azimuth Schottel thrusters, thanks to this energy work’s the flow rudder, roll stabilizers, air conditioning system and the ship's electrical installation. Exhaust gas is cleaned by a catalysator system. Fire protection consists of a "fog curtain" system and hydrants. The ship is equipped with hydraulic side doors, innovative anchoring and mooring equipment. An integrated control cabin allows a small crew to fully control a sizeable vessel.

A medium difficulty well designed model of a small, but beautiful ship for medium advanced and advanced modelers. However, by making a slightly simplified model and working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model will be perfectly assembled even by a beginner or a modeler with little experience. Some details are printed on thin paper and double-sided printing.
