USS “Essex” (CV/CVA/CVS-9) is a US aircraft carrier, built during World War II, the first ship in the series of the same name. He remained in the service for 25 years and participated not only in World War II, but also in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Tens of thousands of airplane launches were made from its deck, the pilots of its fighters and other planes, the aircraft carrier's own crew shot down more than 1,000 enemy planes, sunk or damaged more than 200 military and cargo ships.
Model of medium complexity, but quite large and finely detailed for this scale. There are some models of airplanes of the aircraft group. With the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be attempted by an advanced beginner or a modeler with little experience.
